Driver Terms and Conditions
VanHubUKUK - Subcontractor Driver Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your participation as an independent driver ("Driver") working in
connection with VanHubUKUK ("VanHubUK"). By accepting jobs referred to you through
VanHubUK, you agree to the following terms:
1. Independent Contractor Status
- You operate as a self-employed contractor, not an employee or agent of VanHubUKUK.
- You are responsible for managing your own tax, insurance, vehicle, and business affairs.
- Drivers may be required to sign or electronically accept this agreement prior to being referred work.
2. Insurance Requirements
- You must hold valid Goods in Transit Insurance and Public Liability Insurance.
- You are fully liable for any loss, damage, or injury caused during the performance of a job.
- VanHubUKUK does not accept liability for claims arising from your work.
3. Job Acceptance & Conduct
- Once a job is accepted, you agree to complete it to a professional standard.
- You must:
- Communicate clearly and politely with the customer.
- Arrive on time (or notify of delays).
- Treat customers and their property with care and respect.
- Never subcontract a job without written permission from VanHubUK.
4. Job Detail Accuracy & Upcharges
- If a job differs significantly from the description provided (e.g., extra items, more stairs, longer
distance), you may request a revised fee before proceeding.
- VanHubUK is not responsible for negotiating or enforcing revised payments.
5. Payments
- VanHubUK will notify you of the agreed rate and payment structure before job confirmation.
- Jobs may require a deposit from the customer. The balance is to be paid directly to you unless
otherwise arranged.
- You are responsible for issuing your own receipts or invoices.
6. Cancellations & No-Shows
- If you must cancel a job, you must inform VanHubUK immediately.
- Repeated cancellations or no-shows may result in removal from the referral list.
- If a customer cancels after confirmation, VanHubUK will do its best to offer compensation but
cannot guarantee payment.
7. Professional Standards & Termination
- VanHubUK expects all drivers to act professionally at all times.
- You may be removed from the referral list for:
- Rudeness, abuse, or unprofessional conduct
- Unsafe driving or property damage
- Failing to honour job commitments
- Receiving repeated customer complaints
8. Limitation of Liability
- VanHubUKUK acts only as a referral platform.
- We do not guarantee work, income, or customer payment.
- You accept full responsibility for the services you provide.
9. Indemnity Clause
- The Driver agrees to indemnify and hold harmless VanHubUKUK from any claims, losses,
damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of their work, conduct, or failure to comply
with these Terms.
10. Data Use & Privacy
- Your contact and business details will be shared with customers only for confirmed jobs.
- You must not store or reuse customer details for unrelated marketing or personal use.
11. Dispute Resolution
- Any disputes between the Driver and VanHubUKUK shall first be attempted to be resolved in good
faith.
- If unresolved, both parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and
Wales.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
By continuing to accept jobs through VanHubUKUK, you confirm that you have read, understood,
and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
